NEW DELHI: An Alliance Air aircraft carrying around 40 people made an emergency landing at Delhi airport on Friday afternoon after an engine failure, according to a source quoted by PTI.The aircraft landed safely, the source said. The airline was operating flight 9I 698 from Prayagraj to Delhi using an ATR 72-600, a twin-engine turboprop aircraft. The plane landed at Delhi airport around 2.15pm, according to flight-tracking website Flightradar24. The source told PTI that the emergency landing was carried out after one engine failed.
