NEW DELHI: BJP responded to Rahul Gandhi‘s attempt to mock PM Narendra Modi with a sharp retort Sunday, saying he should consider becoming a stand-up comedian as he is making Congress unelectable.A stand-up comedian joined Rahul at his ‘chhatron ki goonj’ programme in Indore and mocked Modi with his comments and mannerism, drawing condemnation from BJP, more so as one of their acts was aimed at PM’s gesture of calling for a chair for an elderly woman in a public meeting.Addressing Rahul as a grumpy ‘fufa’, union minister Piyush Goyal said, “The irony writes itself. The need to come on stage every now and then just to drag PM Modi ji’s name into cheap political theatre never fails to amaze me. Look in the mirror, Rahul Gandhi.” Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said, “He has anyway made his party unemployed. At least, he will continue to get employment as a stand-up comedian.”
