HYDERABAD: Defence minister Rajnath Singh declared on Friday that Telangana had decided to thwart attempts by governing Congress and rival BRS to crush “pro-Modi” wave.
“It (efforts to foil Modi wave) won’t work as people have already picked who to vote for,” he said, calling both rivals “most corrupt parties that engage in appeasement politics”.
Speaking at nomination filing by Secunderabad BJP candidate and Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy, Singh held up his party “as most democratic” in country and took a dig at opposition, saying they have no agenda.”There was no trace of corruption in last one decade during NDA tenure. Centre has pushed digital transactions all over the country and made everything transparent,” Singh said.
He said only BJP will make a difference in lives of Telangana people. “The more BJP MPs are sent to Parliament from the state, the better the people’s lives will be,” he added. He urged people to vote for Kishan Reddy, the outgoing MP, again. “Kishan has worked very hard and no one can challenge him,” Singh said.
