Detained Pak national repatriated via intl border

JAMMU: A Pakistani man detained near the international border in Jammu’s Kanachak sector last week was repatriated on Monday.Troops of BSF’s 44Bn caught the intruder on Sept 3 near a forward area border outpost. During questioning, he identified himself as Nazir Sadhir from Luni Pundra village in Sialkot and allegedly told investigators that he had inadvertently crossed into Indian territory, officials said.Security agencies investigated his claims, following which BSF officials contacted their Pakistani counterparts and initiated the repatriation process. On Monday, Sadhir was handed over to Pakistan Rangers at Golpattan border outpost along the international border after a flag meeting, officials said.
