NIA conducts raids in J&K’s Pulwama
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama area on Friday in connection with a terror-related investigation, according to authorities.
They further stated that the raids are taking place in two locations in the south Kashmir district: Sethergund and Ugergund.
The NIA agents, assisted by police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officers, stormed and searched residential properties in these areas early in the morning, according to authorities.
According to them, the raids are part of the prime investigative agency’s investigation into a terror-related case.

330 roads closed due to rain-triggered landslides, flashfloods
According to Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department Minister Vikramaditya Singh, 330 roads and two major four-lane highways, including Kalka-Shimla, have been blocked across the state owing to rain-triggered landslides and flashfloods during the state’s ongoing monsoons.
During his recent visit to the state, Vikramaditya Singh thanked Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for pledging a Rs 400 crore package for flood-ravaged Kullu district repair.
Nearly 200 rain-related deaths have been reported in Himachal Pradesh in the 41 days since the monsoon began, according to the state disaster management office.
