Jammu & Kashmir politicians urge UN, PM Modi to intervene over PoK killings

Political parties in Jammu and Kashmir are urging intervention over alleged killings. Over two dozen people were reportedly killed in firing by Pakistani security forces. National Conference president Farooq Abdullah called for a UN Human Rights Council team. CPM legislator MY Tarigami demanded an end to force and an inquiry. Unrest has escalated in PoK after authorities banned the Joint Awami Action Committee.
