BENGALURU: Delhi police teams picked up a senior software engineer identified as Sai Krishna from Vidyagiri in Karnataka’s Bagalkot city and a 50-year-old jobless man named Atul Kulshreshtha in Orai of UP’s Jalaun district on Wednesday as part of their probe into the December 13 security breach in Parliament.
Sai Krishna, a resident of Bengaluru and the son of a retired police officer, is employed with a multinational company.Sources said he and one of the arrested accused in the security breach, Manoranjan D, were roommates during their days as engineering students in Bengaluru. Krishna’s name was discovered in Manoranjan’s diary, suggesting a potential connection between them.

A police team has been interrogating Manoranjan’s parents in Mysuru for three consecutive days, seeking insights into the event that raised concerns about parliamentary security protocols.
In UP’s Jalaun, local authorities confirmed Atul’s arrest, while expressing ignorance about the specific charges against him. Atul, a resident of the Ramnagar area in Orai, is unemployed. Acquaintances of Atul, who chose to remain anonymous, described him as a high school dropout from a financially struggling family dependent on agriculture.
