NEW DELHI: The Lok Sabha elections are scheduled for this year. The Election Commission of India announced the final schedule for the voting and results of the Mumbai North West Lok Sabha election on March 16th.
The Mumbai North West Lok Sabha constituency will go to the polls on May 20th this year, during Phase 5 of the elections.
The results for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in the Mumbai North West constituency are scheduled to be announced on June 4th.
In the 2024 Mumbai North West Lok Sabha Constituency, prominent candidates include Ravindra Wairkar and Amol Gajanan Kirtikar, both representing Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray).
In the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, Gajanan Kirtikar of the Shiv Sena emerged victorious in the Mumbai North West constituency, securing 570,063 votes. Sanjay Nirupam of the Congress party received 309,735 votes. Gajanan Kirtikar won with a significant margin of 260,328 votes.
In the Mumbai North West Lok Sabha election of 2014, Gajanan Chandrakant Kirtikar of the Shiv Sena secured victory by defeating Congress candidate Kamat Gurudas Vasant with a margin of 183,028 votes. Gajanan Chandrakant Kirtikar received 464,820 votes, while Kamat Gurudas Vasant garnered 281,792 votes.
