'No breach of peace for one year': Delhi court's condition for release of Dipke, Das, Ranka

NEW DELHI: A Delhi executive magistrate court on Sunday ordered the release of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka on the condition that they do not engage in any “breach of peace for one year”, the party’s legal affairs head Ratna Singh said.Delhi Police informed that a bail bond as surety bond of Rs 50,000 was filled for “maintaining peace and good behaviour” for a period of one year.The CJP leaders are set to hold a press conference at 2pm on Sunday.Delhi Police detained them from their flight shortly after they landed in the national capital on Saturday to protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.Delhi Police said it had registered more than 20 FIRs over attempts to forcibly hold a protest on October 10.The cases include charges related to disturbing law and order, obstructing government work and assaulting police personnel. Four people have been detained in connection with the cases, police said.
