Various areas of Punjab witnessed rain and thunderstorms on Wednesday bringing relief from the scorching heat to the people.

A sudden change of weather seen in Chandigarh, as rain lashes several parts of the city.

In Punjab, Ludhiana, Patiala, Bathinda, Hoshiarpur, Tarn Taran, Amritsar received fresh spells of rain.

Notably, Punjab has been recording above-normal temperature from past two weeks.
